made these pants using a tablecloth I thrifted for $2.99!!
there’s still enough fabric to make another pair too lmao
3d printed the buttons like I did for my last pair of pants
1st video: my cnc machine laser cutting out part of a pant leg
2nd video: my cnc machine cutting out more of the other pieces for the pants
3rd video: me pulling off some of pieces from the fabric
and 4th video is my cnc machine cutting out belt loops and welt pockets
I’ll b making some navy corduroy cargo bucket hats for sale using some thrifted corduroy curtains hehe
they’re going to b so cool
also I will b making a utube video showing in detail how to build a laser cnc machine like mine so b prepared!! you will have the power to design your own clothes (or download my designs) on computer and have a machine cut the pieces out of the fabric for u!!!
o yea and everything is powered by my two 100 watt solar panels and custom made lithium battery packs that store the solar energy:)))
made another pair of pants using thrifted fabric ($5), solar power and a diy laser cnc machine:)
o and also I 3d printed the buttons, should’ve taken a vid of my 3d printer printing dam it
the first vid is my cnc machine laser cutting welt pockets (my back pockets are welt pockets) and then me ripping a pocket off the fabric
2nd vid is my cnc machine cutting out a pant leg and after my machine cut all the pants leg/crotch pieces out 3rd vid is me peeling off some of the pieces from the fabric
any1 can build the laser cnc machine and or pick up sewing !! I haven’t really been sewing that long (I have been building machines for a while tho but making a cnc machine is still simple) so anyone can make their own clothing (if they have hands... or telekinetic abilities)
don’t be discouraged, u can do most things u set ur mind to
we have strength in numbers, u might not think u can do anything but you can, knowledge really is power too: the more you learn the more powerful you become and the more change you can create
so we need indoor farms (temperature control) that use EFFICIENT irrigation techniques to grow food (doesn’t matter if they’re expensive to make, we are talking about feeding every1 a healthy diet, cheaply)
the fashion industry needs to be sustainable (all fabric needs to be made using crops that are less resource intensive than the crops we currently use and also use efficient irrigation techniques to grow those crops so we use even less resources)
we need autonomous machines built using recycled materials/metal that can make clothing totally from scratch so we don’t have to exploit the labor of low income individuals in countries with a relatively low annual income per capita
capitalism needs to account for the environmental/human degradation in the price of the products the system creates (only in products that aren’t necessities so people have an option not to buy these products that negatively affect the environment and people in other countries)
we need huge biofuel production farms (even if they’re expensive to create), I have in mind algae grown vertically n also using led lights to grow the algae, powered by biofuels hhaha
we need ppl to stop consuming so much in developed countries, overconsumption fueled by capitalism created in the last century has led to great tech advancements and a higher standard of living but is currently not helping many people in smaller countries (and most likely won’t)
we need to care for everyone and every organism that hasn’t went extinct due to human activity
also need to get money out of politics, change can’t happen when big money is stifling social/economic progress
one of the largest sources of female inequality is within the making of clothing- unsafe/unsanitary/unbearable working conditions, extremely low pay, long work days and forced birth control- all just so women can make clothing for many people across the planet and create huge profit for the companies reselling the clothing with their brand logo on them (such an ugly concept ik)
many large well known companies and small clothing retailers buy their clothing (sometimes indirectly) from sweatshops that treat workers extremely unfairly, so to support these companies is to support mistreatment of women (and children as well) indirectly but surely
one can only b an extremely hypocritical feminist/humanist if one buys one’s clothing from anywhere other than MOSTLY thrift stores
don’t worry there will be a sustainable lingerie clothing line soon... somewhere... hopefully
mayb I’ll do it
is capitalism lame??
was capitalism necessary in advancing society technologically and will capitalism unravel itself and become obsolete as tech becomes more advanced??
is competition necessary for more rapid innovation than cooperation or can competition and cooperation yield similar results??
will capitalism and socialism need to b intertwined for society to survive the tech revolution we are about to witness???
feel free 2 create sum topics in the comments

experimenting with designing caps, finished this 1 today made using denim jean scraps from the thrift
I think the side pockets would’ve been cuter on a bucket hat bc they could’ve been wider n longer but
o yea and to fit the cap to ur head U gotta tie the lil straps in a bow
if any1 srsly wants one I can make more but this was jus an experiment so I’m not rlly trying to make more of these heh
I took the zippers from an old backpack that was being discarded n I’d have to find more, the bill of the cap doesn’t have polycarbonate plastic like most cap bills do so it’s kinda flimsy but I love it anyway??
the less resources i use the more sustainable:,))
don’t ever think u can’t do or understand something, there are few things humans can’t accomplish. complexity is an illusion. we can recognize patterns which foster successful execution of things and replicate the patterns until we gain an almost intuition/muscle memory/ illusion of mastery of producing the desired outcomes. awareness, attention 2 detail, patience, and determination can accomplish most things we set out do n helps make us more able to repeat observed patterns
