When meeting someone for the first time we often get asked the “ How old are u? What do u do for work?” questions. I always cringe a little inside. I get it, this person is just trying to start conversation...but it just feels so programmed and impersonal. And yes, at one point or another this is going to come up and is cool to know and everything but can we at least start with something a little more real? I’d rather know about ur dreams, what really excites you, your fears, what makes you cry, I want to know about the moments that changed your life, what ur experience really is like on this earth. Even if I just met you ,even if it’s just for 5 minutes, lay it out.
Let’s actaully give eachother somthing of value we can walk away from. Learning somthing that makes us question our beliefs or shifts our perspective into a deeper knowing.
So with that said, I wanted to share these questions I like asking instead ;) 1. What was the greatest gift you have been givin?
2. What was ur most profound experience?
3. If you had one piece of advice to give what would it be?
Feel free to share yours or use these one day and let me know how it goes 🙂
