Happy Friday everyone! We are still grinning from cheek to cheek about the success of our SET conference a few weeks ago. We inspired over 180 female and non-binary students by giving them the opportunity to participate in hands-on laboratory experiments, talk to women in STEM fields, and just get a feel for what it's like to be a student on the University of Alberta campus. Judging from their bright and smiley faces, it's safe to say they had a great time too! #winning#friYAY#SET2019#females#nonbinary#STEM#WomenInSTEM#wisestualberta
Leena came to my locality, idk from where. Poor baby was being attacked by dogs and managed to hide from them, somewhere in the bushes. She is visibly undernourished and very scared in the first and third videos, which were taken immediately after rescuing her and getting her to my balcony. The second video is in the car, when we're taking her to a boarding because unfortunately, we don't have any space to keep rescued animals, yet :( She is such a darling #baby who has been spayed too (we fear that she could have been dropped to the wrong locality after her surgery)
She looks like she is somewhere between 6-10 months old.
Won't it be better to adopt a baby in need rather than paying for more of them to be bred unnecessarily? Then they are commodified by breeders, sold and in many cases, abandoned :( The #females with breeders lead a miserable life too.
It would be great if someone could #Adopt her! . She is in a boarding right now.
